Accreditation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) – 2026
The Agricultural University of Athens successfully completed the reaccreditation of its Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) in November 2025. The process was conducted by a five-member External Evaluation and Accreditation Committee composed of distinguished academics and an industry representative.
The Committee visited the University on 3–4 November 2025 and held meetings with undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students, alumni, academic and administrative staff, as well as external partners and stakeholders. The evaluation covered all core areas of institutional activity, including education, research, governance and strategic development.
Following the positive assessment, the accreditation has been granted for the period 9 February 2026 – 8 February 2031.
The reaccreditation confirms the University’s strong commitment to continuous quality enhancement, the achievement of its strategic objectives, and the sustained high standard of the services it provides.
