The HEI Quality Data Management System was implemented as part of the National Information System for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NISQA) of HAHE, to facilitate and simplify the process of collecting quantitative data from the country's Higher Education Institutions.
One of the objectives of the Quality Data Management System of HEIs is to support the accreditation processes of the Programmes of Studies and the Internal Quality Assurance Systems of the QAUs, as well as any other quality assurance process, through the provision of appropriate data.
The processing of primary quantitative data allows the production of reports of any type with aggregated data and qualitative indicators, which facilitate the processes of analysis and presentation of data, with a view to quality assurance.
The data entered the system by the QAUs are quantitative and grouped according to the structure of the Institutions. The system collects data concerning: Institutions, Departments, Undergraduate Programmes, Postgraduate Programmes and Doctoral Programmes.
For each academic entity the data are grouped into subject categories and/or subcategories. Each field is identified by a unique code, has a specific data type, and is accompanied by a detailed description. The completion of all fields is mandatory.
